// How It Works
- Store credit is issued when you trade in items and choose credit over cash.
- Credit returns 15% more value than cash on trade-ins.
- Credit applies to any in-store purchase: games, hardware, apparel, and media.
- It is spent in person at the shop, 3940 Buford Hwy Suite B110 in Duluth. The online checkout takes cards only, so credit cannot be applied to a web order.
- Trade-in credit and gift cards are good for five years from the day they are issued. Welcome credits are no longer issued, and any still held run twelve months from their own issue date. No fees on any of them, so the balance you are given is the balance you spend.

Can I use store credit online?
No. Store credit is redeemed in person at the shop, 3940 Buford Hwy Suite B110 in Duluth. The online checkout takes cards only. If you traded in by mail and chose credit, plan on spending it at the counter.
Does store credit expire?
Yes, eventually. Trade-in credit and gift cards are good for five years from the date of issue, which is the minimum Georgia law sets for a gift certificate. Welcome credits are no longer issued, and any already in circulation run twelve months from their own issue date and are honoured in full until then. Nothing carries a maintenance fee, so the balance never quietly shrinks between now and then.
Can I transfer my store credit to someone else?
Yes. Email us at will@nostos.market to arrange a credit transfer.
Can I get cash instead of credit after the fact?
Trade-in offers are made as cash or credit at the time of the transaction. After the fact, credit cannot be converted to cash, but it can be used toward any in-store purchase.
How much more is store credit worth than cash?
Store credit returns 15% more value than cash on trade-ins, a fixed bonus applied at the time of the transaction.
