The PC Engine (released as TurboGrafx-16 in the US) is one of Japan's most sophisticated 8-bit/16-bit platforms - and one of the hardest to buy and sell confidently in the United States. The library is almost entirely Japanese-market, hardware variants are numerous, and CD-ROM² titles carry disc degradation risks that require real hardware verification.
NOSTOS is built around this platform. We have performed capacitor replacement on PC Engine CoreGrafx, PC Engine GT, and SuperGrafx hardware, and maintains original hardware for software verification.

CD-ROM² Disc Condition
PC Engine CD-ROM² titles are subject to disc rot and hub damage - both of which can prevent playback on real hardware while appearing functional in photos. NOSTOS verifies all CD titles on original PC Engine hardware before pricing or accepting as functional. A non-reading disc is priced as a display item, not as a playable copy.
Notable titles verified at intake: Ys I & II, Rondo of Blood, Tengai Makyou series, and other high-value RPG and shooter titles where disc condition materially affects price.
